Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior AR Analyst to own billing and collection activities as ClickHouse continues to scale. This role will help ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of our billing, collections, and downstream revenue reporting as we move towards public-company readiness. You’ll work cross-functionally with Revenue Accounting, Sales, Engineering, and other Operations teams to build scalable processes and workflows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own end-to-end invoicing and collections activities for pay-as-you-go and prepaid commit customers.
- Support recurring, and usage-based, billing models across systems for a variety of subscription, invoicing, and payment term configurations.
- Drive system and process improvements, including AI adoption, automation initiatives, and integrations to streamline workflows.
- Maintain strong AR health through proactive aging reviews, collections coordination with the sales team, and timely resolution of billing inquiries.
- Propose quarter-end write-off recommendations and own AR reporting, including aging analysis, allowance for doubtful accounts, and related GL reconciliations.
- Support monthly accounting close activities, including contract review, usage validation, invoice verification, journal entries, reconciliations, and analytics.
- Support external audit requirements and manage PBC requests related to billing operations.
- Support user acceptance testing for new SKU creation, new product launches, pricing models, and business initiatives.
What You Bring Along
- 3+ years of progressive billing and collections experience at a SaaS or technology company.
- Experience with marketplace platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and reports.
- Experience with automation tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce CPQ).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and data sets.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present information clearly.
- Experience executing internal controls and documentation to support audit and SOX compliance.

How to apply
The Apply button opens ClickHouse's own application page in a new browser tab — applying is free, and this board never sits between you and the employer: no middleman, no form of ours to fill first.
This posting runs on Ashby, the applicant tracking system behind ClickHouse's job board — the form you'll see lives at jobs.ashbyhq.com. It asks for the basics first: your name, email, and a résumé/CV upload. After that come the custom questions this employer wrote for the role — Ashby lets each team tailor its application, and some postings add a short questionnaire on top, so set aside a few quiet minutes rather than a thirty-second sprint. Because the questions change per role, re-read the requirements above before you start typing; answers that echo the exact skills the listing names are the ones that survive screening. Two practical notes: apply promptly while the posting is verified live, since teams close applications once a role fills, and use one email address for the application so your details stay under one identity.

The listed range of $85k to $125k a year sits about 45% below the board-wide median for DevOps & Infrastructure roles on this board.
That median is $156,125 to $231,000 a year, based on 118 live listings where the employer publishes an annual USD range — the same rules as the board's salary report.
The parsed benefits on this listing include Stock Options / Equity and Home Office Budget, so total compensation can extend beyond this base range.
