Senior+ Full-Stack Engineer

NangoDevOps & Infrastructure

Job Description

(Remote, North America, LATAM or Europe)

Nango (YC W23) is a developer infrastructure company and the leading provider of API access for agents and apps. It lets AI applications connect to the real world through integrations.

More than 700 paying customers rely on Nango today, including Replit, Ramp, Mercor, Vapi, Instantly and Exa. We are a YC-backed company with multi-million ARR and a team of 14 from AWS, Snyk, GitHub, Okta, Netlify, Uber, Samsara and more.

We are hiring Senior+ Full-Stack Engineers to join the core engineering team building Nango's platform. This is a product engineering role: you'll take features from customer conversation to shipped product, across the API, the runtime and the dashboard. We sell to developers, so our engineers directly drive the product roadmap, specs and execution. You will own whole product surfaces end to end and help decide how Nango evolves as more of our customers build agents.

What You'll Do

  • Ship product end to end, from backend services and APIs to the dashboard and developer-facing UIs.
  • Build the tools developers and agents use to reach Nango: APIs, SDKs, CLI, MCP and the web app.
  • Work directly with customers to understand their integration and agent use cases, then turn what you learn into a product.
  • Design systems that stay reliable and fast as usage grows.
  • Shape the roadmap with high ownership of product and technical decisions.
  • Engage with the open-source community, owning and maintaining our repo.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience at a senior level or above, with strong backend fundamentals: APIs, databases, distributed systems and performance.
  • Comfortable working across the stack in TypeScript, from Node.js services to React frontends.
  • A product engineer at heart. You care about what gets built and why, not only how.
  • Strong communicator, proactive and reliable in a remote-first environment.
  • Developer empathy: you optimize for DX in every surface you touch.
  • Pragmatic, positive and low ego: you step up in incidents and unblock teammates.
  • Startup-ready: autonomous, driven by ownership and able to navigate ambiguity.
  • Based in North America, LATAM or Europe.

Nice to have

  • You've built agents or agent infrastructure in production (tool calling, orchestration, evals, MCP), not only used them.
  • You've worked closely with customers, for example in a forward-deployed, solutions or developer-facing role.
  • You've shipped polished frontend work, like dashboards or developer UIs.
  • You've built developer tools or open-source projects.

If you're a full-stack engineer with solid backend foundations who loves shipping products, enjoys talking to customers and wants to shape how agents connect to the world, we'd love to hear from you.

How to apply

The Apply button opens Nango's own application page in a new browser tab — applying is free, and this board never sits between you and the employer: no middleman, no form of ours to fill first.

This posting runs on Ashby, the applicant tracking system behind Nango's job board — the form you'll see lives at jobs.ashbyhq.com. It asks for the basics first: your name, email, and a résumé/CV upload. After that come the custom questions this employer wrote for the role — Ashby lets each team tailor its application, and some postings add a short questionnaire on top, so set aside a few quiet minutes rather than a thirty-second sprint. Because the questions change per role, re-read the requirements above before you start typing; answers that echo the exact skills the listing names are the ones that survive screening. Two practical notes: apply promptly while the posting is verified live, since teams close applications once a role fills, and use one email address for the application so your details stay under one identity.

Before you start

Tailor your résumé to the skills this listing names — employers screen for the requirements they wrote.
Have your work-authorization details ready — citizenship, visas, and right-to-work countries come up on remote applications.
Use the listed range ($140k to $220k) as your anchor in salary talk — the employer published it, so it is a fair opening number.

Salary context

The listed range of $140k to $220k a year sits about 6% below the board-wide median for DevOps & Infrastructure roles on this board.

That median is $155,000 to $231,000 a year, based on 117 live listings where the employer publishes an annual USD range — the same rules as the board's salary report.
