About

About Work From Anywhere

An independent job board built around one rule: every listing can genuinely be done from any country. This page covers who runs the board, exactly where its jobs come from, what we refuse to list, and how the site pays for itself.

Board data last verified 2026-10-19: listings re-sync from employers' own feeds 4 times daily.

What this site is

Work From Anywhere is a curated remote jobs board with a single specialty: location independence. On most boards, “remote” quietly means one country, one region, or one timezone — you discover the fine print after you have already written the application. Here the filter runs the other way. A role appears on this board only if it can be done from any country: no required office, no residency requirement, no timezone lock.

The result is a board where an applicant in Lagos, Lisbon, or Cebu is applying to the same roles, on the same terms, as someone in London or San Francisco. The employer decides who gets hired; your address should not decide who gets to apply.

Who runs the board

The board is run by a small, independent, fully remote team. There is no staffing agency or recruiting firm behind it: the same people who research which companies hire location-independently also maintain the ingestion pipeline, verify listings, and read the contact inbox.

We deliberately do not publish individual names or polished headshots on this page. An About section full of invented biographies would contradict what this site stands for. What you can verify instead is the methodology below — every operational claim in it is checkable against the live board — and you can always reach a real person through the contact page.

How jobs are sourced

Listings enter through one of two doors. The vast majority arrive by automated ingestion directly from the employer's own applicant tracking system — the same feed their careers page runs on, never scraped from other job boards and never copy-pasted. A small number are direct submissions employers pay to post (the product sold on the hiring page); they pass through the same verification pipeline before going live. Both doors lead to the same pipeline:

  1. Ingested directly from the employer’s own board

Listings enter through the applicant tracking systems employers run their careers pages on — Ashby, Lever, and Greenhouse. The job you read here is the job the employer published: same title, same description, same posted pay. We add structure (category, benefits, salary parsing); we never rewrite the substance.

  2. A location-independence filter

A role qualifies only if it can be performed from any country. Positions that quietly require one office, one residency, or one region are filtered out before publication — that single rule is why this board exists.

  3. Deduplication

When the same role surfaces through multiple feeds or repostings, it collapses into one listing pointing at the employer’s own application page. You should never see the same job twice.

  4. Continuous re-verification

Every employer feed is re-synced 4 times a day, and every listing carries a 45-day time-to-live that only a live feed can extend. When an employer removes a role from their board, it disappears here within hours — dead posts never linger for months.

  5. A direct apply path

The apply button on every listing goes to the employer’s own application page. This board never sits between you and the employer, never hosts its own application forms, and never resells your data.

Editorial standards

The intake filter is deliberately narrow, because a board that lists everything is a board you cannot trust:

Never on this board

  • Pay-to-apply schemes and paid "training fee" offers
  • MLM and downline-recruiting postings
  • "Guaranteed income" and get-rich-quick listings
  • Content copied or scraped from other job boards and aggregators

Always true, for every listing

  • Salaries and benefits appear exactly as the employer posted them
  • Every listing links to the employer’s own application page
  • Listings that vanish from the employer’s board are removed here within hours

Featured placements (see below) change prominence, never the bar a listing must clear. Employers cannot pay their way past these standards.

How the site is funded

The board is free for job seekers, and it stays that way. Browsing, searching, job alerts, and applying cost nothing, and applying always happens on the employer's own site.

Revenue comes from three places, and all three are visible on the site. The first is display advertising served through Google AdSense. The second is paid employer submissions: the Standard and Highlighted listings sold on the hiring page, priced as a one-time 30-day posting fee. The third is featured highlighting for roles already ingested from employer feeds. In every case, payment changes prominence or placement — never the bar a listing must clear. A paid posting that fails the standards above never goes live, and nothing is ever disguised as an organic result: promoted slots are labeled as such.

There is no premium tier for job seekers, no paywall, and no fee to apply. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
