Senior Director, FP&A

HalcyonOperations

Job Description

What we do:
Halcyon is the industry’s first dedicated, adaptive security platform that combines multiple proprietary advanced prevention engines along with AI models focused specifically on stopping ransomware.

Who we are:
Halcyon was formed in 2021 by a team of cyber industry veterans after battling the scourge of ransomware (and advanced threats) for years at some of the largest global security vendors. Comprised of leaders from Cylance (now Blackberry), Accuvant (now Optiv), Fireye and ISS X-Force (now IBM), Halcyon is focused on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.

As a remote-native, completely distributed global team, we recognize great talent can exist anywhere. We invite you to apply to a job you’re interested in and we'll work a plan to meet your needs.

Halcyon builds an advanced anti-ransomware platform that enterprise security teams rely on to stop attacks other tools miss. Our agent runs on our customers endpoints, in production, in some of the largest environments in the world. We move quickly and give people real ownership, which only works because we're deliberate about who we bring on.

How to apply

The Apply button opens Halcyon's own application page in a new browser tab — applying is free, and this board never sits between you and the employer: no middleman, no form of ours to fill first.

This posting runs on Greenhouse, the applicant tracking system behind many employers' careers pages — you'll apply on Halcyon's job board at job-boards.greenhouse.io. Greenhouse follows a standard sequence: contact details, a résumé/CV upload, and the custom questions this employer added for the role. Work-authorization questions appear on most remote postings — where you are legally allowed to work — so have that answer ready before you start. Some postings add a cover-letter field; when it is optional, the listing's own requirements above tell you whether writing one would genuinely help. The final Submit button sits at the bottom of the employer's own page, and Greenhouse sends a confirmation email once your application is in — if it does not arrive within a few minutes, check the spam folder.

Before you start

Tailor your résumé to the skills this listing names — employers screen for the requirements they wrote.
Have your work-authorization details ready — citizenship, visas, and right-to-work countries come up on remote applications.
Use the listed range ($215k to $250k) as your anchor in salary talk — the employer published it, so it is a fair opening number.

Salary context

The listed range of $215k to $250k a year sits about 25% above the board-wide median for Operations roles on this board.

That median is $151,000 to $215,000 a year, based on 104 live listings where the employer publishes an annual USD range — the same rules as the board's salary report.

The parsed benefits on this listing include Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401(k) Match, and more — equity is among them, so total compensation can extend beyond this base range.
